Better late than never?!
I have been using a checklist like this for almost a *decade* of shopping at Costco! I’m not sure why I didn’t think of posting it sooner, but here we are! Costco has been a budget saving game changer in our family. Despite the 40 minute drive there, and the 40 minute drive back, we save so much money by being smart with how we shop just once per month.
Short and sweet!
I’m basically going to cut to the chase in this post and just get you the goods! I would absolutely love it if we could get a great comments section going on this post to report when we see new things! And as I change my list throughout the year, I’ll post updates here as well.

If you are new to Costco and live in the US, this is probably the best real food shopping list for you. Obviously Costco’s can vary from state to state, but in general, these are the main items in US Costco chains. If you live outside of the US, such as Canada or Europe, my understanding is that your Costco’s are significantly different, and you may want to scroll to the blank copy to make your own!
